Why not give your community a Christmas present and volunteer for 1.5 hours a week with us?
We are looking for volunteers to help at our hot meal sessions on Tuesdays and Saturdays 6-7pm, males preferred as we need to have a mix at each session. Other sessions do come up so if this doesn't fit so please get in touch.
These sessions are mainly attended by people who are in difficult life situations, some are homeless, some have addiction. Strong boundaries with kindness is all that is needed, everyone is supported by experienced team members. Our premises are in Bargates, Christchurch. You really can make a difference to local people who come to us.
These sessions open 6-7pm with setting up and cleaning away time. If you can cook 1 in 4 weeks it would be great, all training etc. provided, basic home cooking needed only.
